Hello! We are so excited to invite you to our wedding, which is basically going to be a Nora Ephron-inspired New York City wedding weekend!
We couldn’t be more thrilled about this day—and to have YOU be a part of it! It’s going to be a totally historic day—not just because we’re getting married (though that’s pretty amazing), but also because no one, in the entire history of New York City, has ever been married in the place where we’re tying the knot…

As you probably know, we went through a LOT of wedding ideas. After so much brainstorming and research, I (Fernie) had to laugh when I finally found myself reserving a deli for our wedding. A deli! Even the guy on the other end of the line sounded surprised:
“Wait…you want to get married here? At Katz’s?
“We want to get married at Katz’s!” I blurted.
And why wouldn't we? It’s only the set of the most famous scene in my all-time favorite movie written by the best romantic comedy writer of all time! It’s also New York City’s first Jewish deli! And we get to serve you food we actually love!

It’s going to be a wonderful weekend in the most romantic city in the world, which also happens to be our home. Anyway, you must watch When Harry Met Sally if you would like to come to our wedding.
There will be a quiz.

Black Tie
We kindly request our guests to also dress in black.

“I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.-When Harry Met Sally
